Wanted to toss this out to the players who participate in the convention poker tourney:
I know that in previous years there have been bounty chips on various players,and from what I hear,this is a whack of work for the person/s involved in the organization of such.
Personally...I miss it, but understand that there is just too much work to lay out on one person, SO...
Do you think that it would be a good idea FOR ALL PLAYERS to bring a $1.00 chip of their choosing(not personals,but an actual casino chip),and when they lose,they have to give this "bounty" chip to the player who takes them out? This way everyone has a chance to get a chip or 2 or even more and could make the game even more fun? I know that this year,I brought a chip that I gave out to the person who knocked me out and they seemed to dig it(although I think that they also dug the $1400 first prize as well).
This would be part of the stipulation for all members who participate and reminders could be sent out to all players so that they would not forget.
The good thing is,if you knock out several people,when you get knocked out you only have to give up one.
This would require very little work....just make sure that it is part of the terms of participation.
I know that it is early but wanted to get the suggestion out there.
