I am also wondering why you are doing this, given that Terry Shaffer represents a company that sells a database for the chip collecting community. Currently, they only have a PC version, which is why I have been tinkering with Bento, but they are even working on a Mac version. I have heard nothing but positive comments from owners of this software.
