Buffalo Run Casino & Resort in Santa Fe, NM, will issue its first commemorative chip to honor this nation's independence on July 4, 2012. This chip was given to me by a high-ranking casino employee so I could post it on the board. After 2,200-plus miles we are home again but had a great convention, met some really passionate members, dealers and was again pleased with the convention's educational aspects about our hobby. We made a lot of stops along the way through New Mexico, Arizona and Nevada -- seeing some remarkable sights like Palo Duro Canyon, the Painted Desert and Petrified Forest, White Sands Monument, New Mexico's capital city of Santa Fe, and the went up 10,000-feet into the Sandia Mountains and the sky tram.
