I read an article just a few days ago and since the show is so popular the pawn shop guys are almost never on the floor because of privacy issues. The article stated that when they were on the floor so many people were taking pictures of them and having other people in those photos that did not want to be photographed that the pawn guys just are never there unless filming.

Also, if ever wanting to buy anything from the shop take the sticker price and then take off a 1/4 -1/2 of the price and start to haggle. They tell you in the show in a few episodes blatently that they are gonna mark up the price of an object by up to 150% or so of what they got it for and then said they will take 1/2 of that price if someone offers it. Also, a couple friends went in a few months back and bought a few things and they were able to knock about a 1/4 of the price off they had listed. Most items for sale other than shirts and stuff are way way overpriced.
