I have drank and then drove. Lucky for me I never hurt anyone and never had an accident. Luckily it was many years ago when it seemed like the norm to do but I would never ever do it now. When I drink there is ALWAYS a DD.

I had a customer of mine once that had cancer. He had been getting treatment for many many years. One thursday morning he went to his doctor and he was told it was in remission. He was on his way home and a drunk driver ran a stop light and killed him. It was saddest funeral I had ever been too. I too wish there were harsher penalties for drunk drivers but I dont know if there ever will be.
