Looks like it is just south of there (fire is still south of I-8). It is at 1,000 acres and moving east. The Golden Acorn is no longer evacuated, the fire has passed by. They are using it now as a staging area and evacuation center for the 150 homes that they have evacuated from a nearby subdivision. Looks like it is not in any danger of burning down, so I'm sure it is back to business as usual!
