A long time ago (ok.... like 9 years-ish?) in a land far away (Las Vegas),

I wanted a specific chip.
I neeeeeeeeeeeeded it and at that time, it wasn't an easy chip to get!
I whined. I begged. I groveled.
I could NOT acquire this silly little chip!

Oh! The mean chippers here would post the one they had in their collections...
To taunt me! To remind me! To torment me!!!
but I could not find one available for sale or trade.

Sooooooo... at one of the conventions (I was working the Building Fund table that year),
an announcement came over the brouse floor:

"Jill Bitner - please go to Table XYZ (can't recall which table),
there is a Harrah's birthday chip for you."

I swear... a collective cheer went up over room.
Not sure if it was because people were happy I found my chip -
or if they were relieved I'd FINALLY stop whining about it!

I just want to take this moment to thank everyone that has been part of my chipping journey.
Thanks to the Club, my friends, my mentors, our members...
Thank you to those that post, write, teach, present, volunteer, create (and more).

THANK YOU for letting me be a part of something that gives me joy.
And thank everyone that feeds my "I need Harrah's" obsession!
