Those of us who are interested in these early Illegal gambling boats know they were anchored off shore and they all used water taxis to ferry the gamblers back and forth,thousands upon thousands used these taxis,I just always figured you payed your 25cents for the round trip and that was that.I found a ticket for a taxi leaving 1415 W.7th St Tel 611-284 same address used for the Johanna Smith taxis,never saw one before (just thought I'd share)
