I know exactly what you mean! I haven't found anything here in the US that quite tastes like German lemon soda (we called it Citronen or lemonad - can't do the squiggly lines or the double dots over the letters). I'm glad I can at least get the German orange Fanta here in the US on-line through Germandeli.com. It is so much better than the US version of orange Fanta (sweet orange colored sugar soda). They have some lemon type sodas, but the color tells me it isn't the same as what you are describing and what I have had in Germany.

I'll check out Wal-Mart for this "Clear American" lemon sparkling soda water and give it a try. Thanks for the info...
