ACTA Gaming School, AC closed!

ACTA Gaming School (Atlantic City Training Acadeny) located in the corner of California and Atlantic Avenue has closed. I made 4 calls to my friends in Taj Mahal and the Borgata but they told me they closed long time ago.

According to one website with an article from the Press of Atlantic City dated 2009, there are only two dealing schools operating the Casino Gaming Institute and the Casino Career Institute (this is in Atlantic Community College which has a brand campus in Cape May College. There used to be 7 dealing schools.

The Casino Gaming Institute is still owned by Gregory Fiore located in Pleasantville by the railroad tracks. The CGI survive by opening in Delaware and in PA

I am still waiting for two phone calls from the two Shift Managers from Taj Mahal.

Archie no chance to get the chips or the scans.

All the rest are also close.

Both photos are the exact spot of the dealing school location. This is a new building, the very corner used to be a "mom and pop store". The school was located to the left by the middle of the new building now.

The big government is further left not shown was built much earlier - 2005 maybe.

You can see the Star of the Sea Catholic Church one of my favorite, the other one is St. Tolentine about near the Resorts and infront of the Knights of Columbus abandoned building, they made chips with several issues for fund raising. Fr. Hodges was very energetic and a good preacher too.
