About 5 or 6 years ago I was at the convention playing 3 card poker (or maybe it was a 5 card game. I don't remember) at the Trop. Anyhow, this was a game where if you are dealt a royal flush (and you had place a $1 side bet), you would win the progressive jackpot. The jackpot was, more or less, about $10k.

Now this was also a game where all 3 (or 5 cards) are dealt at once to each player. Now I'm playing for a while. Of course I'm doing crap. I'm sitting at the last seat next to the dealer. The guy to my right leaves. There's a guy there to take his place. Rather than sitting down, he tells the dealer to deal, he'll "watch a hand". That deal, the dealer dealt himself a royal. Had that person sat, he would have gotten my cards and I would have gotten the royal..
