I played an eight hour session of poker yesterday. I only got up because I had to go to a wedding. As I was cashing out my chips the bad beat hit at my table. it was only for 149,000. There was already a person sitting at my seat so the cards would have been the same if I were there.

I am telling myself that maybe the 2 hands before I would have played the hand differently than the person in my seat therefore my muck would have went into the deck in a different spot which could have thrown it off. Or that the person in my seat missed one hand so that could have been enough to throw it off.

If anyone can give me any other things to convince me that I didn't miss out on anything.

At least the person in my seat wasnt in the jackpot hand so he only got a table share which was only $5322.
