I know this is not chip related but every now and then an opportunity or event comes up that some of us want to share with friends and fellow collectors. First off is a money raising workout I am participating in this Saturday and the next is to say get out and walk or exercise. I have made great changes this year due to cross fit. It can be for anyone of any age. I have seen others in the class make remarkable results. There are many clubs across the country. Sure some of it is hard but at the end of the workout you feel great! (until the next day and muscles you didn't know you had are sore).
I will explain some of the workouts below.
It feels great to help charity and I know many of us try throughout the year to give a little. Just maybe it is that time...
Hello Friends,
I have a chance to work out, sweat my butt off, and earn money for my favorite charity St. Judes!
CROSSFIT FOR HOPE
CrossFit for Hope is the joint effort between CrossFit and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The goal is to raise 1.7MM - one day's operating cost for St. Jude - to combat childhood cancer and other deadly diseases. "Hope" is a CrossFit workout and it has the same format as Fight Gone Bad. In this workout each athlete will move from each of five stations after a minute. This is a five-minute round from which a one-minute break is allowed before repeating. The clock does not reset or stop between exercises. On call of "rotate," the athlete/s must move to next station immediately for good score. One point is given for each rep. Here is the workout:
“Hope”
Three rounds of:
Burpees (jump on the ground, do a push up and jump back up in the air)
75/55 pound Power snatch ( with a weighted bar, pulling from your hips, jump and press overhead landing in a wide leg stomp)
Box jump, 24"/20" box (fly up onto a box, stand up, jump down- major cardio- but I love it!)
75/55 pound Thruster (squat with a bar or dumbells with weight on your shoulders as you come up push all the way overhead)
Chest to bar Pull-ups (the real deal pull all the way up- im good at these!)
I am excited and I HOPE you will share this with me with a little donation. I will be participating in the workout “Hope” this Saturday at 9am (mountain time). I would appreciate your donations of any amount. Every dollar counts!

Thanking you in advance for your generous support!
See where I workout. I recommend crossfit for everyone. When you enjoy working out and get results its very worth it! Find a crossfit near you! When many of you see me in a few weeks at the chip convention you will see my results from this year. (although my very low cholesterol and not having to take pills isn't noticeable). crossfitbozeman.com
