There are very few pictures of Hall of Famer Bob Mera around. Bob had a casino collectibles store on the boardwalk in Atlantic City between the Tropicana and Bally's Grand (now the Atlantic Club Casino). Bob's store was a hang out for chippers. Anytime the store was open, there were a bunch of collectors in the store buying, browsing or just hanging out. It was the first place I stopped every time I was in Atlantic City. Bob was known as the top recruiter for the CC>CC in the early day, and perhaps still is. Bob passed away several years, the store is gone, and there is very little remaining about him. Save for this chip that I guess Archie Black had made up when he presented Bob with the 1991 Top Recruiter award.
