You can play for free at Everestpoker.net. Currently real money play is not allowed from US IP addresses. There is a simple lobby to help get you to a game quickly without having to navigate the spreadsheet of available games (I'm biased. I designed it). The table looks dated, but there will be a brand spanking new one fairly soon (designed that too).
