Millennium Chips on The ChipGuide
In Response To: CG numbers ()

I agree with Ross, chips are not on the ChipGuide because we don't have the scans. Even though we have over 50,000 chips on the ChipGuide, there are many more chips out there that we don't have. The ChipGuide Administrators have done an unbelievable job putting up submissions and chips from their own collections. Activity has been low lately because we are finally catching up with all the submissions. Many of the administrators don't have any submissions to work on. So we encourage collections to make scans of the chips in their collections and submit them to the ChipGuide. It is very simple to make a submission - make a scan, go to the submission form on the ChipGuide, fill out some info about the chip and upload it. Shouldn't take any longer than a minute a chip.

And if you need help scanning chips we are offering a free online training seminar "Chip Scanning 101". The next class is this coming Monday, June 4th at 8 pm EDT. There are still some seats left, send me an email if you would like to attend.
