I believe that they are prepping for a return to Echelon in about 2 - 3 years, especially as the South end of the Strip keeps making noises of an upgrade. (A Sahara remodel and re-open.)

However, I was not aware of an issue with the Cosmo and is the issue the casino, the hotel or both? I thought Duetche Bank was just the finacial engine and that the facility, especially the casino, was an activity of the City Center Project operated by MGM/Mirage and therefore if Duetche Back wants out, they just need to find another financial entity.

HOWEVER, I struggle to understand all these financial/casino/hotel entanglements and may have just proven that in my reply.
