Anyway...
In my wildest dreams...all of the ads in our Nevada newspapers and tourist magazines are scanned, and filed on the computer by casino (and believe me, that's a WILD dream ! ), and I could click on the "Honest John's" file to see if we have anything with the Paradise Road location. That's a century or so into the future....

We did get 4 new-to-us 1960's-1970's tourist papers today. When I browse through them, I'll keep my eyes open for Honest John's Paradise...
Your article made me realize that there's Honest John's postcards out there. I neeeeeeeeeed some . Searched

2456 Las Vegas Blvd. was the address listed for the newsstand in 1962 and 1966. Maybe 2444 was the casino, and the newsstand had a separate entrance???
I'm glad George stopped for me to take the "He's Back!" picture, as I think that's the only time we saw the place. I just wish I'd had a minute to peek (and maybe take a pic!) inside.
Maybe there was a shed out behind 723 S. First Street, with a few slots...hence the 1/2??

Be sure to tell me what Phil has to say...I sure do wish I'd been to Vegas back "in the day"...
