the most proficient mass produced chip ever made was the Embossed FAMOUS JOCKEY CHIPS? Hundreds of thousands if not millions of the Jockey chips were produced in the early 1900s.

A close second would have to be the Embossed GOLFER chips featuring a Golfer in Knickers with his niblet. BUT did you know that a few of the Golfer chips have an unusual variation. Some of the GOLFER chips have a Divot flying off to the right but only a very few & the Divot is only found on one side of the chip. As far as I know, all of the Divot chips found are exactly the same so it would make sense that the variation was in the mold.

I have only been able to find these few Divot chips over the years. When you see a Jockey Chip be sure to check both sides for the Divot.
He seems to have a bigger grin on the Divot chip too!
