It was a bitterly cold day in the middle of May, “Oh wait! that’s not right!”
It was 96 degrees at the start of the parade. We did not start moving until 1 hour and 15 minutes after we lined up. The parade was pretty good. Lots of Motorcycle enthusiasts looking like gangs! My favorite thing! We had the Civil war re/enactors in front of us and the politicians behind us! Does that say something? The folks loved the woodies, WE SHALL SEE!!!! The reviewing stand got most of the info right just as we passed so that was GOOD! The banners looked great!
My thanks to Ralph “Hotrod” Myers for driving his 1958 Edsel Station Wagon, “Oh wait!, that’s not right either.” A 1981 GMC Caballero, I think that's right!”
My thanks to Tony Tricoli, on his bum knee walked the whole parade and was a most genial "tosser' of woodies!
My thanks to Sandra Zakai; Scott Snider’s significant lady friend for hustling back and forth throwing and handing out WOODIES everywhere!
My thanks to the smartest, cutest “Poker Shark” there is, my babe, Chris Smith, handing out WOODIES personally to almost everyone on the parade route, one at a time!!!
Boy! I hope at least one person hits the reg desk and says, "WOWEE, Am I glad they tossed these woodies out at HELLDORADO?
