I've done that lots of times over several years John ... and took the 5G chip back home to scan for my A.C. catalog ... and return the next day/week to redeem said 5G chip at the casino cage. In fact, I recently tried to buy a $1,000 chip from the new Atlantic Club in A.C. (former Hilton A.C.) and they refused to sell one to me. None are on any of the tables and when I asked a pit boss if he would order one from the cage to be included in his next fill, he said the cage will only send out $20,000 (one stack) only if there was a qualified player on the premises. (which left me out).
