Tammy, very informative. My first trip to vegas I took a taxi to the Mirage. We ended up on the highway, then on the back main street and then finally to the casino. It ended up something like $26. On my way back to the airport it was only $14. It was only then that made me think how much extra I probably paid all week. I mentioned it to the cabby and he was disgusted with how dishonest some of the drivers are.
