what I found out.

1) It will be nearly impossible to get a firm commitment from anyone during the convention timeframe as everyone who is anyone will be playing the WSOP and cant commit to an appearance if they may be still in a tourney.

2) Even if we could get someone to commit, the rates are ridiculous.

For $10,000-$15,000 we can get someone like:
Ted Forrest, Erik Lindgren, Juan Carlos Mortensen, Chip Jett or Scott Fishman

For $15,000-$25,000 we can get someone like:
Jennifer Hartman, Scotty Wynn, Mike Sexton, Phil Laak, Gus Hansen or Sammy Farha

For $25,000-$35,000 we can get someone like:
Greg Raymer, Jesus Ferguson, Phil Gorden or Jennifer Tilly

For $40,000-$60,000 we can get someone like:
Phil Helmuth, Johnny Chan, Howard Lederer, Daniel Negreanu, Doyle Brunson or Annie Duke.

However if you want Phil Ivy you have to shell out $100,000-$125,000 for his appearance.
