A long time friend who owned a coin/antique store passed away recently. The estate is inventorying collection and has come up with several gaming collectibles. Some are common (dollar tokens including a couple MGM boxing tokens, dollar chips, free play tokens, etc), some not so common (silver strikes, $7 silver strikes, Franklin Mint tokens, MGM Bicenntenial chip, etc), but other items are like this one, may not be rare but seldom seen (at least by me).
Does anyone know approximate value? Chip is encased in keychain holder, looks like CG64631 and TCR N3682A.
They also have a few silver dollars encased like this in Las Vegas casino holders. I've seen the Harrahs Reno/Lake Tahoe before, but not the Las Vegas ones. Will try to scan on another time.
Was going to try to get all their gaming items to the Convention, but I don't think I have enough time to catalog and bring it all by June. Anyone interested in any of the items I post is welcomed to make an offer and I will pass it on to the family.
