Doug; My comment was not intended to be criticism. It was a just a comment. I probably would not have responded at all had I not been posed a question at today's A.C. club meeting from a volunteer who commented, "I read on the message board that we're having a banquet this year"...
I apologize if I ruffled some feathers with my response to Ralph's post. You are right ... the important thing is that the volunteers are recognized for their contributions no matter what the appreciation venue is called.
