I am in the transportation business and it was left in one of my cars in November. It has been sitting in our Lost & Found department for just over 6 months with a dead battery. I bought a charger for it and found the owner's email address and sent him several emails telling him where his iPad is but in 30 days I got no answer. Usually we donate cell phones, eyeglasses, and such to a charity but I thought we would give this one "special consideration." The rightful owner can still have it back if he contacts me but I doubt after all this time that is going to happen. Normally we hold things for 60 days before they are disposed of.
I think that is fair don't you?
