In a home game, you can do what you want. There are a few options. Along with the one already listed, you can declare a misdeal and return bets to everyone (probably not possible), you can declare the misdealt card dead, burn it and give the player a new card or you could give the player the option to keep the card that flipped up or receive a new one. There are probably other possible outcomes. It's something you should know before you start.
