Hi,
I guess that I am in the very small minority. If I worked out a deal for a fellow chip collector to aquire a chip at a nice discount because I wanted to help him/her advance thier own personal collection I would be upset if they took my generousity and sold it to the highest bidder. At that point it could almost be like a gift if the discount was severe enough. Some collectors enjoy helping other collectors because they are in the hobby for the purer love of the collecting. Some collectors don't buy and sell - they simply buy. Someone who is trying to help you out because of thier own goodwill should probably not be stabbed in the back. Would the person have given you such a good deal if they knew that you were buying for resale? I think that dealers who see a good deal on here and buy one or two of what the seller states he has multiples of is O.K. I don't agree when they just jump out there and say "I'll take all you have" and then deprive fellow members of a good deal. Is this "collectors helping collectors" or is this "every man for himself" where "there is a sucker born every minute"? Hhhmm?
