Re: Etiquette question
In Response To: Etiquette question ()

First I am not a dealer. I have no problem with a provisional exchange. I have given away tons of banknotes here for new collectors or kids of chippers & (not always) sometimes stated "Do me a favor and don't let me see you listing these on eBay any time soon," basically it is a gift and if you needed the money I would rather send a donation and let the note go to someone who would appreciate it. I have ALSO (knowingly) sold chips well under value to a few people who did not have big budgets and I willingly took a loss. Again, it is in large part a gift and a large part my friendship. NEVER abuse either and think it would continue to happen. BUT, 95% I could care less with the chips or notes. I will mention not reselling (right away) if it is part of the deal. I have no reservations in doing so because I am eating some or all of the costs. I do things like that to promote my hobbies because I am financially able to do it (seeding the crops for future generations, hahaha).
