When someone offers a chip for sale ... it does not come with any pre-conditions that it can't be purchased and re-sold at a higher price. Even on ebay a chip has often been sold, only to be re-sold at a higher price. Ditto for the annual club auction in Las Vegas. That's why ebay and auctions are not the sole arbitrator of value. This board, and ebay, are sometimes considered dumping grounds for chips that some folks have no place else to sell.
