called a Chipco sample or Chipco over-print.
It is usually very difficult to tell which design is the over-print and which is the original print, but the general idea is that the chip was sent through the printing process twice in an effort to cancel the first impression, or to produce a sample that displays graphic capability and chip weight/texture to prospective buyers, without having to show an actual chip.
