This is a notched sample of a roulette chip used at Monte Carlo, Monaco a number of years ago. Shows a race car, which I assume is running the 1937 Monaco Grand Prix Formula-1 race. Same on both sides.

It appears to have been designed with this race ad poster in mind. The car is an Alfa Romeo 8C-35 Scuderia Ferrari, of which three competed in the 37 Monaco G.P. I can't find which one is this red one, but there were German, Swiss, and Italian drivers of these cars. Mercedes Benz swept the competition with 1,2,3 finishes.
