This is the 2nd teaser I’ve posted on this story. I hope you remember the 1st one.
I thought I would give you Illinois boys a 2nd peek at a future “Illegal Of The Day” post I am working on. It should be a heck of a story when finished. I am working with the grandson of an Illinois State Trooper. 1955-1960 Captain in Command Battery #6 Illinois State Police, 105 troopers. He led over 500 raids on Illinois illegal clubs. I have many scans, notes from the raids, official documents describing the raids, scans of confiscated chips (some we have never seen), etc, etc, etc.

There are a number of raids on clubs we have never heard of.

A little teaser.

Chip delivered to Stateline Country Club Lake Tahoe, NV in 1956. SCC closed right after the delivery in 1956. Record card in Taylor files on Preserving Gaming History site.

SCC chips were taken in an East Cape Girardeau illegal club raid in 1957. I have a picture of 250 of them in a BJ rack taken out of the club. I think these are the 1st NV chips we can track to an Illegal Club.
