The Golden Palm was on Dean Martin Drive (near the Wild Wild West), and before that it was a Howard Johnson's, which also had slots. Either answer would have won. I drive past this place almost every day and knew I had stayed there once many years ago. I thought it was a HoJo, and it was, before it became the Golden Palm.
