that, until recently, the club board got very little traffic from anyone. One of points in making the "Favorites" of the day postings on the club board was to increase the number of visitors & posts. And possibly a new poster posing a question could get their question answered by one or more of the club members that are now making regular visits to the club board (instead of sending them elsewhere for an answer). As has happened on numerous occasions when someone posted something to the club board, if no one responds, it's better to at least steer them to a place where they can get an answer instead of the post just languishing without a response.
These two BBs are not in competition with each other & TheChipBoard has always been a great source to the club for new members. Do I wish to see the club board peppered with posts about "today's mail" or auction finds or "looking for trades"? No, I don't & I believe that what is being done currently is a HUGE step in the right direction. President Smith had suggested some time ago about the possibility of having another "tab" where members could solicit trades & sales, but it is not currently feasible.
