Yes, they did a nice job making the place look pretty after Katrina, but they never followed through with the complete project. They filled in part of the dock so they could expand the existing property, but never started construction, so they ended up with a tiny casino and tiny poker room. The tables are routinely empty. I have to imagine that the Golden Nugget owners will work on the expansion and turn the property into a proper casino resort.
