What the club did was to peel back the protective layer on one side of the complete inventory; leaving the finished cancelled pieces with a rough, sticky (graphic pigment) exposed surface and some of the outer layer still remaining... and I 'cleaned-up' that process by further removing the complete layer on the pieces I had in order to scrub-away the exposed pigment; leaving a finished piece as seen below.
(I realized I sinned in the eyes of the chip Gods.. but you gots to do what you gots to do... )
I have lots of cancelled plaques that have never been seen by anyone (excpt those who played with them, of course ) from many, many casinos... and I'll probably make a webpage to exhibit them some day...
