One of the top topics at the last BOD meeting was discussion the Banquet.
We have listened to all the concerns that have been forwarded to us and spoken with the South Point about our options.
Unfortunately due to minimum catering requirements for the convention there isn't much leeway in what we can offer.
For example a wine and cheese reception would not meet the requirements unless our expenditures were in the same range. That means we would be paying the same amount and be able to offer less.
However we have come up with another solution which we feel is a better fit and would resolve some of the concerns.
This years banquet will be a seated dinner rather than a buffet style as we have had in the past.
The South Point has put together a fantastic themed menu that fits perfectly with our Roaring 20's banquet theme.
We are in the process of putting final touches on that menu and will be able to share it with everyone very soon.
A special thanks to the Convention and Banquet chairs as well as the South Point, in helping us make option available to us.
I am excited about this years event and hope everyone will join us at this great event.
