I'm surprised the Calgary paper does not know that the "copper" penny is made of steel.

If Canada gets rid of the penny, what will happen to all those Canadian cents floating around in the northern states' economies? Everyone in Detroit is so used to getting Canadian pennies in their change and in their bank rolls!
