David; I have the 13th Edition, 2011 of TCR. You're right, the holder has an old value on it ... but the chip was a gift. "F" according to TCR is still a $20-$24 value chip. I have many chips in holders that still have notations of what I paid for them, but I don't think anyone would complain if I gave them away for free.
