Never saw them before nor have I heard anyone saying they were used for Laverne Redfield until you said so today.I worked at the Nevada Club from 1968-1980 then moved to AC. We did at times have the CC Chesterfield Club on the Roulette tables when we ran short of the Ike's. When Laverne came into the Club to play he went to the cage to deposit or set up with Fitz what he wanted, he would then come over to the European double sided single zero wheel to play. Normally came to the table with 2 racks of the orange 200 chips[sometimes more] a fill of 5 racks would be put on the table and if he needed more we had a marker with his name on it, he would sign for 1-2-3 racks. If he was winning the Greens would come out and were treated as 1 green for 5 orange. I was never told he had different chips before my time nor were we ever told what their values were. We guessed at 1K and 5K, only Fitz knew that answer.
