10 or 15 years ago Nevada chips dominated the market with
some collectors collecting California or Atlantic City chips.
Record prices were recorded for Nevada Chips. Today chips
are collected from most every state in the union. Illegals,
riverboats, jetons, Indian casino's, European ect. are now
being collected. The market is flooded with chips from all
over the world. Because these chips for the most part are
readily available there value has no reason to increase.
The chips that are the best investment value are those
that are no longer manufactured, are collected by the most
people thus in demand, excellent condition, beautiful
to observe, never made to be collected(Le's), and have
historic value. The Most Valuable chips are Nevada Obsolete
$1 &$5 from Las Vegas with a beautiful inlay from
a historical casino. That's where to invest today. Just my opinion.
