Okay I see your point but I would rather have it say scare then to put a $200 price tag on it and then sellers on eBay site from a document it's worth $200 because it is in print. That's my preference and opinion. Either way you have no idea if it is scare or if it is worth $200. Only other alternative is to have no scarcity or price on it. I sure as hell don't have the answers but I am throwing around ideas. Ideas that I have thought about for some time. I care about the hobby of collecting chips that are classified Illegals. It is also a very esoteric part of the chip collecting overall but I think it is the most interesting also. Again just my opinion.
But yes you are right. I know for a fact some sellers on eBay lie or will not tell you how many of a certain kind of chip they have. There is no definite solution. You can argue any side and bring up good points.
You also know, in general, after you have a new find and sell a few the sales as well as the price tapers off. This of course is not valid if said Illegal has a cross sell audience ie: C&S or can be pegged to some infamous person or mob.
