You said a mouthful! For a long time I could not see world economies merging, and you are right, for some to merge it is going to be quite a magic act to say the least.

The Euro, West African States, East African States, Central African States, French Pacific Territories, East Caribbean States are all United economies.

Many other countries also use Euros, Dollars or pegged their currencies to them.

A one world currency is slowly emerging. It will be a LONG time before it happens if it even does. It may not get that far, as you say. Who knows.

You must agree though, the world economies are indeed in crisis mode.
