Ok I think we will have enough people to get this going. We need at least 12 brackets to make this worth while but I think we should be able to get up to 30 or more. We will be using cbssports.com as a host site. Please post that you are in to this thread or send me an email and I will send you an invite via email. If you want to use a different email than you have registered here then please let me know so I can send the invite to the correct place.

Buy In: The buy in is your choice of 5 $1 casino chips or 2 $5 casino chips per bracket that you submit. Each person is able to submit up to 3 brackets. If you submit more than one bracket you can change up what chips you send if you do not make it into the paying spots. For example, if you have 2 brackets you can either send 10 $1 chips, 4 $5 chips, or 5 $1 chips and 2 $5 chips. Please do not send your chips out until the contest is over. At that point I will send out an email and post it on this board indicating who should send who.

Who can participate: Anyone can take part in this contest. You do not have to be a member in order to play. If you have any friends or family that do not come on here but have some chips they would like to wager you can give them my email and I will send an invite.

Prizes: All chips should be SU or better condition. Please do not send out any chips that you would not like to receive if you had won. We expect all transactions to be completed as soon as possible after the completion of this event. the national championship is April 2nd which is a Monday so I think a reasonable time frame to send out all chips would be by the end of the week. The distribution of prizes will be posted after the start of the first game which is March 15th. I would like to have the top 3 get rewarded but this will depend on the number of entries that we get.

Deadline: Your bracket must be completed prior to the start of the first game on March 15th. Remember that you need to receive an invite to get entered into the website so try not to wait until the last min or you may not make it in time.

Scoring System: We will be using the standard scoring system that cbs sports and many other brackets use.
First Round: 1
Second Round: 2
Third Round: 4
Fourth Round: 8
Semifinals: 16
Finals: 32
Final tie breaker will be the score of the final game.

I (Jason Barbiaux) will be acting as commissioner of this league. I have the final say in any and all disputes. I have the right to make any changes to these policies as I see fit. If you have a suggestion to make this a better tournament please post it on thechipboard.com and after we have some open discussion I will make a ruling.

Remember this is supposed to be fun so we should all be respectful of all competitors in this tournament. So lets make this a great tournament and have some fun.
