~~~ from point A to pont B, I would (and always have) taken I-95 and as Jim mentioned; jump on to Florida's pike.

You might also want to get off either roadway to visit our coastline by driving south on either A1A or US-1 anywhere along your treck (if you've not done so, before)... We've got a nice run of beach to see.
