I have been an Ebay buyer/seller for the 15 years ebay has been in operation
Over 550 transactions with only one problem of not collecting for a purchase.
(I still have the item as never send with pre-payment}.
I over winter in Arizona an a 55plus resort park to escape the Dakota winter.
In fact I teach a class (once a month) at the park on buying/selling on Ebay.

Most of my concerns have already been covered in previous comments.
-Majority of buyers search over the weekend so I list on Sunday evening (midwest time). For 10 cents you can list now but have it posted at differant time.
-For larger items list for 10 days which allows for two weekends.
-Charge realistic postage rates. Nothing turns me off more than have paid $4 for postage and the item arrives if $1.25 postage on package.
-For listing chips/tokens, I would suggest not selling lots unless they are from the same location in a series, such as $1, $2, $ 5 all from same casino. Don't mix casinos together in the same lot.
-2nd chance offers: I like return sellers and if I sell an item to person A for $10 and then offer second high bidder (B) the same item for his $9 high bid, I feel I cheated (A). Don't like to give or accept 2nd chance offers. If you have two items list them both.

AND NOW MY PET PEEVE ABOUT THIS BOARD AND EBAY!!!
Please don't post a note on this board that you have chips for sale on ebay without some addition information such as location, etc. Not many of us have the time or interest in checking back and forth on ebay for every listing. Please take the time to at least indicate in the subject line a brief description such as "Listed on Ebay some Arizona Chips". You will get a lot more hits if you assist the buyer in their search.
