Re: Ebay Selling Strategies/Tips
In Response To: Ebay Selling Strategies/Tips ()

Generally good strategies, I think, but I disagree with a couple of them:

You're right that most West Coasters are awake when you end your auctions early afternoon Eastern time. However, many of us are at work then, and accessing eBay is not an option. As I'm sure you've found out, a lot of bidding happens in the final minutes or even final seconds of an auction.

I end the majority of my auctions on a weekend. You say they're paying less attention then. I have found the opposite to be true. I'm not sure who's right.

A detailed description can be as effective as a high-quality picture. Throwing in some of the casino's history when appropriate, for example, might attract an additional buyer. I think it's worth the extra minute or two to add some detail.

Good luck with your auctions. The link to mine is below, by the way, in case you're not busy this weekend. vbg
