These were the chips on one of the two Mississippi River boats that sailed from New Orleans about 15 years ago. These are from Grand Palais; the other boat was the Crescent City Queen; they were both called "River City". They sailed alternately from the same dock to minimize the waiting time for new players who arrived when one boat was out.

After these boats ceased sailing, their unused chips were returned to Paul-Son to be cancelled with a gold hotstamp. The set includes backup chips for the $100 and $500, and also has the Grand Opening $5. All the chips are Unused. The uncancelled chips were not made available to collectors and when I tried to buy some from the redemption center nearby, they refused. A few exist, but only what players took home with them

You can have a set with the gold removed from the cancel as shown in the scan for $40. I've had good results with this process but had quite a few spoiled while I learned how . The impression of the cancel is still intact as I made no attempt to make them look like original chips, only to expose the designs for collectors.
