Added warning about 30 pocket pages....
In Response To: Re: option #3; 1-1.5" binders ()

Charlie is correct, these are very bad news for chip when used for storage. These sheets do not allow for chips to be in a flip first. Chipco chips with red ink will bleed through them and stain chips in other sheets!

Also, Bud Jones stickered inlay chips will stick, over time or when exposed to heat (like in a car on a sunny day)!!!

While I will use these sheets to ship chips, I will not use them to store my collection!

At present, I use a multiple of methods to store chips. Those methods include:

20 pocket pages with my chips in PVC-free 2" x 2" flips.
20 pocket pages with my chips inside a 2" x 2" paper and mylar flip in which the mylar window is stretched to fit the chip and the flip is closed and secured with a self-adhesive. Also, the top edge of the flip has a small tab that allows easier removal from the 20 pocket page.
20 pocket pages with my chips inserted into the pocket along with a 2" x 2" paper and mylar flip. (Note, the chip is not encased in the flip. I insert the flip behind the chip. This is like what many dealers do with their For Sale binders, but I do it for my trader binders.
12 pocket pages with paper and mylar 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" flips.

I also use double-row boxes that hold 2" x 2" PVC-free flips.
Square tubes for my traders when my duplicates are 5 - 20.
Also air-tites, but those tend to get stacked on the desk.
Chip trays, and last, but not least...

35mm slide trays, in pvc-free flips and in some instances, by them self. (No, not the circular trays, but the straight ones that hold 30 and 40 slides.) While the flips will stand-up higher than the edges of the tray, but chips alone will fit in below the edge. These stack well and if bought used (thrift store) they run for about 25 cents to a buck each! I have been using them for quite some time and have found no ill effects, i.e., harm to chips being in contact with the plastic trays.
